Slow Juice with Ginger Juice

Luuk from Luukskitchen made a healthy juice with Go Now Pure Ginger Juice!

I've had a slow juicer at home for a while now, but to be honest I don't use it enough; the slow juicer or juice extractor. It's so nice and easy to press healthy fruit or vegetable juices with this machine. I've decided to do it more often again, and in this blog you'll find a delicious and healthy recipe for it.

What is slow juicing?

Essentially, a slow juicer presses all the juice out of a fruit, leaving you with pure vitamins. The fibres are separated from the juice, so you don't get the smoothie-like texture. Note: don't press only fruit in a slow juicer, because then you end up drinking a lot of fructose, and that's sugar.

The vegetables I find ideal for a slow juicer are cucumber, beetroot and carrot. These vegetables contain a lot of moisture, so you quickly end up with a good amount of juice!

Other flavourings

Make your juice extra tasty with fresh (preferably organic) ginger, lemon or turmeric. You can easily remove the peel and press the fruit in the slow juicer too. If you find that too much effort, I'd love to tell you about a new brand I got to try: Go Now. Go Now have already done some of the groundwork and made shots with organic ginger and organic turmeric, among other things. On top of all the health benefits that naturally come with it, it's also really convenient.

I got to test a tray of ginger shots, and because of my rheumatism, ginger is of course very interesting to me because of its anti-inflammatory effect.

I'd love to tell you how I used the ginger shot in a recipe.
